TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Please be aware that each piece is handcrafted and due to the nature of the work, subtle variations may appear in details or finishing. We are committed to our clients and creating the best piece possible. Pieces purchased are to be sold under the name of Pieces by Cari, LLC or piecesnyc.com unless alternate arrangements are explicitly defined and agreed upon by owner, president, of Pieces by Cari, LLC.

ORDERING
Please contact Pieces by Cari, LLC via telephone or email to place your order. Price does not include sales tax and shipping charges. Shipping rates are determined upon ordering. Shipping charge will be due at time an order is placed.

PAYMENT METHODS
Payment in full is required for finished jewelry prior to shipping. For custom orders, a minimum deposit of 50% is required to commence work. Price quotes are based on current metal and gem markets and are valid for a period of 10 days, after which they are subject to change. Currently we accept personal checks drawn on a US Bank, or money orders. Checks made out in the amount of $10,000 or more may take up to 10 days to process. Domestic wire transfers are subject to a processing fee based on the particular bank’s policies and fees.

SALES TAX
No sales tax is applied to any purchases outside of the state of New York. 8.8% sales tax will be
applied to all purchases within New York, unless a resale certificate Form ST-3, Exempt Use
Certificate Form ST-4, Exempt Organization Certificate Form ST-5 is received. It is each individual’s
responsibility to pay appropriate use tax if applicable.

ORDER STATUS
Please telephone or e-mail us to inquire about the status of your order. If a custom order is placed
on a rush basis, as defined by 7 work days or less, an additional rush fee may be assessed prior to
placing the order.

SHIPPING
Estimated ship or delivery time may vary. Customers’ delivery preferences will be honored whenever possible. For international requests, please contact us to arrange for shipping.

RETURNS AND CANCELLATIONS
If you are unhappy with any piece that you receive, you may return the item to Pieces by Cari, LLC within 10 days of purchase for non custom ordered items. The item must be shipped in it’s original packaging, in pristine condition and prepaid via insured mail. Pieces by Cari, LLC is not responsible for any items lost or stolen in transit. Shipping charges will not be credited.

CUSTOM AND SPECIAL ORDERS
Please contact us if you need a special size in a particular piece. We will always try to accommodate your request. Commission pieces are available upon request. Our office is available for consultations and welcomes clients. Custom and Special orders are final sale.
